I can tell you from my experiences with my son as he grew. We first started by him kicking the ball in our backyard. He learned to kick a ball bway efore he could swing a bat. As he grew I had him play the sport that was in season at that time, whether it was baseball, basketball or soccer. To watch him mature as a player was a pleasure for me, as he also having fun while playing. It was even better for me when I saw him coach his three children as they became of age.
